Blade not centered in handle help!

I hope this is the right forum for this question. My knife's blade is not centered when in the closed position. Is there a fix for this? this usually doesn't bother me, but this ones WAY off. should I just send it back? thanks

What knife is it?

Scewed (think Benchmade) together knives are handled differently than pinned (think CASE) knives.

If it's screwed, loosen the pivot and the handle screws. Push the (open) blade toward the side that it's closest to when closed, and starting from the rear, tighten the handle screws then the pivot. Don't ask me how or why that works, it just does...at least it has for me.

If this doesn't help, I'd suggest sending it back...
