grnamin, I have some questions about your Blade-o-Leer.

I found this site: http://www.strapworks.com It seems to have the kind of stuff I need to make my own Blade-o-leer. Can you tell me how much webbing, what kind, what buckle, what shorteners, etc. that I need? It would be appreciated.

Dr. Thor, you've been busy! :D I figured out where I got the hardware and strapping from: Ohio Travel Bag . I looked around and found a sticky label from the company. :) I have a bunch of the strap hinges, the ones that you would use to connect the strapping to the sheath. Email me your snail mail address and I'll send you some, gratis. I use 1" nylon webbing for the straps, same goes for the Fastex type buckles and tri-glide (for strap management). You may also want to check out ITW Nexus.com . They send out free samples to potential customers. :) Hope that helps.

Hey guys, thanks for posting those links. I've been looking for some good places to get webbing and buckles. :) Nice sheath BTW.

You're welcome and thank you for your kind words. :) Some of the best sheaths are made right in your own home. :D

OK, I have some buckles and sliders on the way, as well as strap hinges, thanks to grnamin. :) Now I just need to figure out hom much webbing to buy. Any ideas?

You're welcome, Dr. Thor. :) I bought a 100 ft. spool of webbing. But then I thought I was going to make a lot of sheaths. :D

I bought Greg's 7 inch EU-17 with the blade-o-leer sheath system. I'll let you all know how it works for me.

BTW, that Magnum looks good. I have a Bill Siegle modified BM-E that looks very similar. The Magnum should work well.
