As a non-traditional (ie, "more mature") college student, I have a scarcity of space and funds. I am having to choose between some things that go smash and chop vs. some things that go bang, with the things that go bang often taking up less room. So, here are a few offerings I hope to sell at the Blade show. Prices including shipping also included.

Canvas micarta "indestribo". This is about 64" x 1.25" octagonal bo staff that I have often mentioned and that several of you have offered to buy from me. Made by Robin Marshal, then of the Bujinkan Atlanta Dojo, back in about 2000. Robin went on to make these for dojo members for a while, and they were extremely well received, but this was the first. I have seen it shrug off impacts that broke even thicker purple heart bos. I have seen it support a 180-lb man's weight in the middle without damage. This is an optimal striking weapon, but BE WARNED: EXTREMELY HEAVY. Looks like wood at first glance, but weighs about 3x as much.
$160 at Blade, $200 shipped.

Himalayan Imports Bancharo. This is a hand-forged ax, suitable for fighting or work, never used. HI only made a handful of these, and no-one was happy with the handles. This one has had a red oak longer handle installed by THR's Kaylee, but has never been used. $120 at Blade, $145 shipped. (Middle of pic; the knives are either side are 17 and 14", for comparison.)
