Blade play on Buck/ Strider folder

I recently noticed that the blade on my 880 Sp was not tight, it would move front to back as if the liner lock wasn't quite doing its job. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you fix it. thanks

try adjusting the pivot a little bit. tighten it down a little if you can, use loctite (blue) to secure it in place.

or send it back to buck. customer service is out of this world.



i'm holding my new 8881 tactical right now. i've had a few of these in the past, but dual thumbstuds/clip really take the cake.

i wouldn't go as far as to say the "linerlock isn't doing it's job." the linerlocks on the BS line are probably the only linerlocks i trust. i can't emphasize enough how pleased i am with buck knives for this knife.


try adjusting the pivot, and keep us posted.

Vertical blade play may be a lock issue. Try titening the pivot pin, but you should probably send it in for us to make sure its good to go.
