First off, if this is in the wrong place and needs to do Please do.
Well all, I'm still unpacking after a recent move, and while sorting through one of the many boxes I found one of my old Emerson Commander from back I bought back in 2000. I just pulled it apart and found some surface rust on the blade, and it's the cutting area has been disfigured by a belt sander... I recall the guy saying he was going to try a beveled edge, messed it up and said no charge... I think that's when it went into the box...
Anyways I was wondering if anyone would like to take on the challenge of cleaning up the blade, giving it a nice acid/stone wash. cleaning up the liners etc making it nice and sharp again (curved blade with serrations!!! yay!!!:barf
.
I'm willing to pay. I'm not at a point where I can start doing acid washing yet, nor am I in a place where I can do it... the condo I live in I'm finding out is pretty strict so I don't really want to push it... yet.
Shoot me a message.
