Blade related Cinematic Moments

The killing of Luca Brasi in The Godfather. Brasi no doubt habitually placed his strong hand flat on the bar. So the plan was slam a knife into his hand pinning it to the bar top, preventing the drawing of his revolver, while number two throws a wire around his neck. Edit: Stupid me, didn't think of YouTube. This is really brutal for those that haven't seen the film...

Hell in the Pacific.

The almost duel on the beach with Lee Marvin wielding what looks like a Ka-Bar and Toshiro Mifune a stick. Great film.....

Karambits came up in the "What knives do you absolutely don't like...." thread. Found this clip from the film "Taken" with Liam Neesom. Looks like his adversary is using some kind of karambit....

Most likely unknown outside the Netherlands is the 1972 movie "De Inbreker" or "the Burglar" in English.
In it then major Dutch actor Rijk de Gooyer plays Willem "Glimmie" Burg, a skilled burglar and jewel thief, while his friend and bodyguard is played by real-life martial artist and actual Korea war veteran Jon Bluming.

The main character's stiletto plays an important part in the storyline, and for his role as old school underworld figure actor Rijk de Gooyer learned how to handle as well as throw that stiletto like a pro.

Recently i discovered a 1080p HD upscaled version of this personal favorite on Youtube, and it even has English subtitles.
Entirely shot in old Amsterdam, and complete with scenes in the Red Light district (with actressess instead of prostitutes)
