Any Buck 110 blade will fit it, in fact I have one with a 110 blade that came from the factory that way.

I once asked Buck about doing a blade swap on a 560, and at that time they said it could be done, but that it might get scratches in the Titanium that couldn't be buffed out.

Not sure if they still do this or not, contact Joe Houser at Buck, he's a moderator of this forum.

Good luck, the 560 is a great knife!

Nice knife,

But I seem to recall them not doing anymore swap or replacements on the 560's?
Like B.C.C.L. said email Joe. He will take care of you.

...Like Jim said...repair of the 560 is a real headache. It's not slam dunk "riveted" like a 110 or 112. If ya look closely at the rivets you'll see that they are set using like a spin riveter or special cup riveter and it's done on both sides. Damage to the titanium sides is almost assured. That's why, when we were able to get blade upgrades...( in the good ol' days...:o ), they decided to stop doing the 560 exchanges long before they dropped the 110 exchanges...Send it to Leroy...:)

most likely they will replace the whole knife..
thoes rivets are a pain...
real hard to get right and not have blade movement is the main issue i belive
also as they dont have that machine any longer it is a HAND process of peening

... with a knife of equal or lesser value? OR the same model?????????????

wells i can a tell ya if they dont make it what do you want?
they sold the 560 for 30$ in the store..
soooooo i fig if they give you a 110 he is even...
recall he said he did get it used..
i sent in one that they ceased makeing once and got a fair trade in on a new one of some thing close..
in this case what would be close or better ...
a 110 ? or 174 north shore man?
or they may replace the blade ...
gee i dont know... i am only guessing here! ...
i dont throw the buck, Joe is the qurter back what makes the call!
i is only a cute little cheer leader...see my butt (_._) ? ;)

...THAT is much more graphic than I really would have cared to see...

Start your negotiation by saying your knife was a mint and irreplaceable family heirloom and that you'll take nothing less than a MOP/Damasque Custom 110 from that Shoppe.

Then you might get a nice knife and a videotape of Dave shakin' his butt.

Or not.

You should be able to drill out the blade rivet and remove the blade. A visit to Wally World and ~$26 will get you a new 110 blade. It may need some minor fitting. A 1/8" barrel nut from Texas Knives or Jantz should handle the new blade pivot.

Others have done this swap before... ;)

Leroy Remer is a master at it...He may even have the special peening tool... :D
