Personally I like the drop point for a hunter/skinner and a spear point for general utility and wood craft.

There are so many that it's hard to answer. The upswept almost "Nessmuk" blade of the Marbles woodcraft is recent favorite of mine.

Basic drop point. No-nonsense, versatile, practical.

If it has a slight recurve as well, no arguement here.

I like drop points for everyday work but for certain applications I love a good wharncliffe blade.

I really like drop point be cause it's so praticle, I laso like modified sheeps foot- just because it looks cool

Spear points just catch my eye, but I find a hawkbill more practical. The problem is I can't find a hawkbill that I'd carry every day.

What he said, except for the last part, to which I would say, Tasman Salt.

I like the leaf shape from Spyderco a lot...I like how it looks and it's very utilitarian.

Reverse tanto has essentially the same cutting profile, but done right, is also very pretty.

The recurve/nightmare tanto has only recently become an interest of mine.

But I have to say, in general, I'm a lover of recurves and always have been. If I could only have one blade profile on all my knives, I'd choose recurve.
