BLADE SHOW ’2012 – Show us what you got; Please!

Here are five of my six coming to Atlanta.
5 Damascus, 1 W2.
2 are Maiden Hair Twist, one laddered Ws, and two are radial random.
W2 has a killer hamon.

Getting sent off for top-shelf Scott Teaschner sheaths, lots of hot bluing, wrought iron guards, etc.

A shout out of thanks to Stuart Branson for inspiration and advice. He is not responsible for my shortcomings!

See you there,

John

Here are some knives I'll be dragging along as soon as Scott Teaschner is finished with the sheaths and the blades are hot-blued.
The guard on the spalted maple gets hot-blued as well.

(Three more to go!)

John, Karl & Ken: very nice knives! Makes me wish I could be at the Blade Show.

Kind regards,

Jos

Karl I do love that damascus Bowie at the bottom. i'll just bet she feels real good in the hand. Looks to be substantial in weight.
What is the blade size? Have fun at the show!

I wish I could answer that question - she's off on her way, with the other two, to get some fantastic leather by Scott Teaschner. I'm thinking 8" or so.
Not really all that hefty as she appears - pretty light and quick. :)
I'll give some more accurate details when I get her back and hot-blued.
That's a twisted wrought iron guard.

This is probably the only time I'll ever get the chance to post on a 'what have you made for the Blade show' thread, so I thought I might as well make the most of it!:)

I can't explain why at the moment, but this effort of mine will be heading there...unfortunately I'll not be going with it.

There you go...it's been nice to be able to post a picture or two rather than just look for a change.
I enjoyed that!!:D

This one's going to Blade. A 9" feather pattern fighter with integral guard and integral hidden tang. Amber dyed stag and some 24 carat gold wire.
