My photos looked a lot better when my eyes were closed. :P

I am ready now. Tavel safely everyone.

The Atlanta Blade Show is barely over a week away and this is the first knife I have entirely done.
I have five more all completely built - they just need hot-bluing and some etching here and there - so I'm not worried.
Anyway, for #1 I have an Every Day Carry knife forged from a 1 1/8" round bar of W1 tool steel that was hardened to display the distinctive hamon.
The knife is built in a take-down assembly with a 416 stainless guard and stabilized Tasmanian Blackwood for a handle.
More to come in the next few days.

Wow! Love it.

I'm glad I'm not going - I can't work enough years to buy all the incredible knives that would call to me.
Unlike with beautiful women I have a shot at getting all the knives I admire, :D the $$s notwithstanding.

You guys are amazing.

hello
here one more

Table 20Q

I'll have this 11 inch X-Rhea Bowie on my table. It has a hand sanded blade. Please come by my table and handle it to see how it feels. This is a one piece knife.

I'll also have a few of the hunters in the Integral Rivet style.

I'll be presenting this knife at the CKCA Banquet. It's made in my Southland style. The blade is 12 inches and the fittings are Damascus and stainless with a variety of textures.

I have another unique knife in the works that you might be interested in as well.

Claudio that is a sweet little push dagger I will stop by to fondle it. and lots of other great knives I look forward to seeing everyone

Thank you very much David! It will be a pleasure to meet in person. I'm a big fan of his work, as well as of many other knifemakers. Being able to see in person the work of all of you, will be a great experiance for me.
