Blade Show 2010

Yes, well, I seem to remember the conversation the two of you were having about how LITTLE y'all had left. ;)

Funny shit was Kevin asked Mike why there was an ant on his bag. Then saw the ant on my bag. THEN saw Mike's tattoo. THEN everyone pulled out their Izulas! And him asking "What's the deal with all the damn ants?!" LOLOLOLOLOL!

Was that right about when the mr's shirt sleeve came up and my pants came down?

So they could see the izula on my upper bum.

This was my first trip out to the blade show and I had a blast! it was great meeting everyone, and I'm glad that my "good side" was captured on film for all of eternity.

Unfortunately the trip was cut short and my ASSociate and I were only able to be there for the Friday events. Having lived and worked in Atlanta for 6 years, I can honestly say that Blade show 2011 is about the only thing that can get me motivated for another trip back to Atlanta.

Blade 2010 reignited my interest in knives, and I'd like to thank ESEE for their welcoming of of an unknown!

By the way Kevin. I will NEVER, EVER demand that you turn around and drop your pants. :D

I ASSumed you would decline and laugh not say 'hold my beer.'

Here a re a few of the shots I took....

A shot of the ESEE case

Don't let anybody tell you that Mike and Katie didn't work their buts off.

By the ends of the nights Katie was usually looking somewhat zombie-ish.

Today was THE longest day OF MY LIFE. That is all.

There will be pictures, information and stories later. I'm EXHAUSTED.

Ya know, I was really looking forward to the Blade Show, and was really bummed out I ended up having to stay home and work.... until you said this Mrs S.... hell you've given birth more then twice, and if BLADE was the longest day of your life.... somehow that makes it sound downright scary....

Some great picture.... Misty, who's the Zombie? That the ESEE girl that Mrs S replaced? :D

EDIT: Looking at the pictures again... damn there were a lot of Hair follicle challenged guys there.....

with all the esee knives i sharpen and test i'm seriously running out of arm & leg hair to shave. maybe they did too and moved onto their head?

Did you guys have the ESEE gear/duffel bag that was being talked about a few weeks ago?

That's what happens when ASSumptions are made! Course, it didn't hurt that my blood stream was 90% alcohol at the time either.

Ahh man Blade was friggin awesome. A big THANKS to Mike & Katie for their hospitality. It was awesome to finally see you guys in real life. It was cool to meet Jeff, Mike, & RYP. Also meeting meeting a bunch of the crew from this forum was great. If anyone ever gets a chance to go to this show I highly recommend it. I got to meet & talk with several of the knife world top designers & builders. I also got to see who will be most likely the top dogs in years to come. The overall experience was just great. I'll try to get some pictures up when i get off my duff & get them downloaded.

Josh, I'm glad you came out to Blade! You're always welcome here for a visit bro!

thanks bud. It was awesome to meet you. For no longer than you have been making knives your stuff is friggin awesome.

Mrs S, it was nice meeting you and the Mr. I don't remember if I introduced myself, but I picked up an ESEE4 while I was there. The young guy that I was talking to has quite the career ahead of him in car sales if the knife thing doesn't work out for him. He was spouting off details and options like nobody's business. See y'all in 2011!
