My first purchase of the day was a ZT 0170 had been meaning to pick one up and the where discontinued.....just couldn't resist for $90
and I'm loving it so far!
100' of coyote tan 550 cord...
Got myself a plain Jain mini grip in 154-CM from knife works, this on cut me within a hour
(really great people to deal with and just chat, not that they had much time to chat at blade lol) they actually had 1 black G10 para 2 for $117...
Got 2 of these prybuddie XLs for $20 apiece from Sharpwerks (yes with a "E") I have been carrying one for the past two days and I'm loving it!
Frog lube lol, food safe and it smells like mint....works good, I'll be ordering another bottle some time soon...
Not much to say about this, did watch tuffthumbz make a video about the table where I got it though!
Case pen knife, got this one making feather sticks...out of my hairs
(ignore the card, just needed something in the background so I could get the knife in focus)
now hide your kids and hide your wife, there's pirates around here

I got to handle a sebenza (I understand now) they are perfect...a shirogorov model 111....
I met Todd Beggs briefly, and his brother, let me tell you his brother is certainly not what the show "blade brothers" made him out to be, he's defiantly not the kind of person to ride around Todd's shop on a bike screwing things up. I got to handle the "frontline flipper" which was amazing (it was a TI liner lock with G10 scales and LSCF inlays) did to getto handle a bodega though...
It got to meet Greg Medford and the crew and handle all the new knives...the viper flipper was sick! If your reading this, where's my hats man?
DJ Urbanovsky from American kami was a fun guy to chat with and this is easily my faorite pic from the hole show. I really want one of his TI sporks next year!
John Grimsmo was fun to talk with, I especially liked the norsemans because I've been watching knife making Tuesday sense week 8! For anyone that's curious he's holding a wood (desert ironwood IIRC) inlay Norseman and a his personal carry knife (another Norseman)
now my highlights,
I got to meet tuffthumbz (Geoff) gavko (Mike) anonymous (John) sugar creek forge (Dan) Sam and jdavis882...all really cool people, even if some of them couldn't slice paper
some news, I talked to Geoff (tuffthumbz) and anyone that follows his work will know about the toads, thanks to blade HQ boker will be making them! ETA is next year.
Over at the Kershaw/ZT/Shun booth I got to meet Thomas W, jimmer, Jen, stickdrum, greenie, kershaw guy
all great people....expet for stick of course
also thanks to Thomas I got to handle the 888, 0600, and various other things (I'm just going to let everyone wonder) along with the protos and a 777! (Thanks Dave!)
The booth!
Now, the best part of the show for me was meeting Todd Rexford and getting to handle his personal singularity (can anyone say grail?) he gave me some insight into the design of the 801/801CF and he was just a all around nice person!
His singularity! (Notice the damascus inlay in the pivot) sorry I know this isn't he greatest pic, but I was more interested in the maker

And that's blade show 2013 for me, it was a blast, I enjoyed meeting some forum members and if you weren't there I hope to see you next year! Sorry if some grammar is off, frankly I don't give a d*mn
feel free to ask questions, I'll answer them if I can
Have a good one!
