Blade is nothing if not one big meet-up of the faithful.

- in line three hours before the show opens Friday
- at the Busse booth
- in the Pit
- by the fountain (do people still do that?)
- at Fogos
- at Jock and Jills

I'm pretty sure we sat around the fountain for a little bit last year :thumbup: It's such a great time :D
 
After missing the last two years I plan to make this year. I am staying at the embassy suites on Spring Road. The Waverly even if it wasn't booked is way to expensive for me. I can stay four nights for just a little less than they charge for one.
 
We'll be getting in on Wednesday and we'll probably be at Jocks n Jills for dinner ie: Wine and Wings gorgefest. Oh man, not long now.
 
How long can I expect to wait in line to get in? I have a VIP pass if that makes a difference (I hope so haha)

What you are getting from Busse is not an actual VIP pass but a form to GET a VIP pass so first you have to wait in line to get the pass. That usually happens sometime between 10 am to 11:30am but some people show up at 8 am or earlier. After you get your pass then you stand in another line until the doors open a 12 PM. I usally get there between 9:30 and 10:30 depending it means I am not first in the door but I also dont end up waiting in line to long. Once the doors open it doesn't take to long to get in the door.

Good to see that he is still setting the standard. On my last trip to Blade, in 2009, VoxHog, NewBob, and I started the line at around 7 - 7:30am. Hangover and all.
 
I went ahead and bought the early bird ticket. I have ambitions to get in early, but it seems others have the same idea... Guess I'll have to hold back on the beers thursday night, in order to get up early.

And here I thought I would have the entire Cobb Galleria to my self for the first 2 hours:p
