What is that black and yellow AD looking one. I got to get one of those.

This is my first post in the Busse forum mostly because, until today, I'd never handled a Busse or Busse kin. My brother and I made our first pilgrimage to Blade Show this year and it's a little bit overwhelming.
I was kinda minding my own business when I heard about a hundred people screaming and hollering. Well it turned out that the Busse booth, no, arena was the source. I made my way over but was turned away by...security? Too many people so gotta come back at three. My brother and I made it back and waited for the show.
This guy gets up there and starts asking " who wants a ....." . Alphabet soup to me but some seriously awesome looking knives. Then he starts throwing these white cards out and people are scrambling to get there hands on them.
I finally got one and it was for a Scrap Yard 1111 with a bronze finish and a tribal tattoo etched on the blade. I'm not in a position to buy a knife like this so I ended up giving it to my brother. He got a card a little later and got a comp finish SOB.
Neither of us really knew what we had until we got to the counter and a young lady very patiently showed us the knives and explained everything to us. She was really great! Didn't make me feel stupid at all.:D
Anyway, I just wanted to thank Mr. Busse and everyone at the Busse & Scrap Yard knife companies for making this an incredible first trip to Blade Show. I didn't know what to expect but it sure wasn't anything like this. Really awesome!!!

Sorry about the quality of the pics.

Love the story and the pics. I've been around the Busse Family a long time and everyone there always makes you feel at home and never bothered to answer questions or explain what's going on. Glad you got a couple of blades and had a great time.

:D:D

Hmmmmmm I dont' see Ole Tom Kanik there. Ya think that old Marine got shoved to the back of the line. ;)
