I never could get people away from Joe Housers display to take his picture with it, always someone is there. Once in a while he would sneak off to the Buck factory booth to rest....
Bucktown Sheriff Russ Donoghue chose to fly light and not bring his 700 display. He enjoyed working with the youth and taking notes during club meeting. Well, more of the first than the last truthfully. Marge helped man the club table.
Here is Dale Eichberg's unique and prize winning display packed full of old Buck knives, many made in the old 'Shed' days
Connor Danskin is entertaining the 'spit and whittle' crowd behind the club table. To the right is Pat Donoghue and Alan Horner. Actually, I was trying for a photo of the small case on the right where John Foresman was displaying his miniature Buck customs.
J.D. Goode's Texas themed collection, Eddy Birdwell's grandson.
Here is photo of the BCCI youth at work interviewing Sheriff Rusty Donoghue about what makes a good display. Brent Schindewolf organized them to do this and with a successful form signed off they were in a drawing for prizes.
Here again, the youth group are at it interviewing Gene Merritt on his collection, Jimmy Holbrook is backing him up. Brent pulled out his teachers/ principals ability and really got the BCCI youth present involved with the show and with the people. Kudos go to Brent.
On Saturday a reunion group from the 10 th Ranger Div visited Jim Ridlen and the Buck Club display. We were happy to have a group of service men to entertain.
