Blade show 2015

Great picture of you Evan! Your inaugural show!! Must have been quite an experience!
It gets so that life is just marking time between shows!:D
I wish I coulda been there!:(

Evan and Philll, It was nice to meet you guys! There are some unreal pieces on that table. I look forward to seeing what you bring next year. -Aaron

I like the whole kit and caboodle, Mark! Great scores!

I look forward to seeing more pictures and loot:D

No need for two "blade show 2015" threads. Merging them.

I came home with a sweet CSC barlow and had a very interesting chat with them about traditional knives. I had a blast chatting with the GEC folks as well and was rocking my GEC t-shirt on Sunday.

Evan was so busy, I forgot to say hey! Knives all looked great on his table.
I was yearning for the Toole with carbon fiber handles, similar to a zulu Bose.
Picked up an Ohta higonakami in ebony, d2 blades. Very impressive.
A great time as usual!

Glad to hear you all had a great time  Great pic of Evan and his stall Phil  Nice haul Mark, love those printing blocks

I really enjoyed meeting Evan and Phil. Nice guys! Wish I could have met more of you there.

I ended up purchasing 5 knives (!!), though most of them are for my groomsmen that are attending my wedding in August. I'm glad I had set a budget because I wanted to buy everything I laid my eyes on ;)

Here's a shot of Evan at his table, one of the only pics we took this weekend unfortunately. The show was really a sensory overload!

clutchcarter,
Your Lick Creek "Lyle Edition" was a Great Buy, Lyle is an Knowledgeable EXPERT on that pattern
I looked at Bobby Toole's Folder's, NIIICCCE. Yours is a BEAUTY.

Tim, Jordan, Erik, Aaron, I had a GREAT time meeting and chatting with all of you guys! And Mark, I'm sorry I missed you!

I was able to go to the blade show this year. I was fortunate to meet Evan and view his very nice knives. I also had the chance to talk to Tony And Reese Bose, Tom Ploppert, Don Hanson, Mr. Tozaki and many others. So many incredible knives and personable makers. I cant wait for next year.

If you walked thru the Buck area you likely saw me and didn't know it. I did a photo shoot posting over in the Buck area of the Buck folks and goings on. I only got one knife but it was a nice 2000 Buck 503 and it was given to me. If anyone is interested I will give you the link over to the Buck site thread but don't think it would be correct to post it all here. It seemed more crowded this year than last. But the concrete floors got harder to walk on, so said my knees. 300Bucks

Great pictures and many thanks for sharing. It'd be a long trip from Sutter's Fort on the west coast.
