BLADE SHOW 2025- WHO'S GOING?!

In a totally uncharacteristic fit of extravagance, I have just booked to go to Blade Show...flying over all the way from the UK. Last visited as part of a longer trip to visit family friends in 2011. This time my planning skills failed entirely and I am coming just for the show.

Chris

I have never been interested before, but are there any opportunities for visitors to trade or unload knives they no longer want?

All kinds. Trade or sell to dealers at the show. All kinds of trading, buying and selling at the pit in the Waverly lobby

Has any of the VIP discount codes been sent out yet. I am on the list from Spyderco but have not gotten it yet.
Thanks

My 4th time and going solo this round which I’m looking forward to the drive up for Friday! Did last year seem a little less energized that previous years? Might have been the company I was with! Either way I am e cited for this round!

It’s been a very long time since I have been to Blade Show, early 90’s so I am planning on going this year.
Breaking the drive down by stopping around Charlotte to rest up and drive the rest of the way down Friday morning. It’s almost 900 miles each way so it’ll be a long drive!

Awesome, Gary! Stop by the Latama table and say hi! (9W/9X in the big room)😁

I will be sure to do that!

I’ll be there Friday and Saturday. Early Bird ticket is the way I like to go. That first hour with no one in the room is worth it to me. Get a good look at what you want with little crowding at the booths and pick up any exclusives easily. But the best part about Blade is meeting new makers you’ve never heard of. I’m especially excited to check out Angler Knives from California this year.

Getting excited! I'll have a few in my satchel of goodness for folks to handle and critique. If you see me on the floor or in the pit stop and say Hi. I'll post the "shirt of the day" in here for all to see (it will be a Hawaiian shirt).

Is there some kind of thread for Blade Show first timers? There's so much to know, I dont even know where to start
It’ll be overwhelming once you step into the big room. I’d say, make a list of makers you want to check out. Carry a small backpack for shirts, stickers, catalogs you’ll pick up all day long. Throw a couple water bottles and some snacks in there as well. Common courtesy to makers, ask to pick up a knife. They want you to and love to talk about their work, it’s just respectful. Be prepared to find all kinds of cool blades and companies from all over the world you never knew existed. Nothing like it, have a blast!

Do you think we'll have enough time to see every vendor? Well be there for the whole 3 days. I know i won't spend 30 min at each vendor and that some might be just a 5 second glance and some a 20 min conversation. How do I pase myself?

Roller blades?
😇
Probably the best course would be to make a list of the ones that you know you really want to see/visit

It’s really overwhelming when you get there, just so much all at once

All done putting MY "touch" on this framelock Tuch Knives "Klick D/A", make sure to stop by their booth (#420) at Blade Show this weekend to check it out along with the rest of Bill & Eric's amazing work!😁
