I am considering going this year but I have to plan it better than last year. Breaking up the drive, and actually sticking to a plan so I make sure that I visit everyone that I want. Last year I missed so many people but I was burned out from the drive.

I usually arrive the day before, pick up my bracelet/band that day then chill/relax at the hotel pool before the next day. Never understood the guys that literally camp out in line.

I'm still on the fence. I'm only @4.5 hours away. I've got a 3 gun match Saturday that I really want to shoot and a Carolina Hurricanes game I want to watch tonight at 8. I'm considering leaving @3/4 and going down for the night and trying to see everything tomorrow. Not sure that would be enough time. Also considering blowing off the 3 gun match and leaving Friday morning and doing all 3 days....

Decisions, decisions. Would be a lot better for my wallet to skip it and just stay home and shoot the 3 gun match....

This is year number 4 for my better half and I. Only doing Friday because our wallets will be empty after a single day lol


I started work a bit early this am so I can get out of here at 2:30 to go home and pack. Then we are leaving sometime this evening (3hr drive for us) and might hit the cigar lounge across the way from the convention center.... We will see
