It sure did. That one was a total impulse based on how awesome it looked. There were a bunch of really neat model’s similar to this in the begging of the day.

A simple observation: the makers of the knives in this picture do a heat treat of your Magnacut that meets your standards. Or were your purchases based on personal style and not science?

Some will be more optimal than others for my uses and preferences. But it’s not as if the heat treating is so bad I wouldn’t buy or recommend any of them. I have been “quoted” many times as saying that all MagnaCut must be 63-64 Rc but I’ve never said such a thing. And even if I had not all 63-64 is equal.

I knew of the misquote and the following misinformation. My observation was largely tied to the notion that some makers were trying to get it more closely to correct or right, thus making you happier about the evolution of your invention.
