I've got one of the Delta Foxtrot already, and it's fantastic! Dylan's kydex is great stuff, too - I really want a Kilo to match! Gotta save up again, Fletcher gear is a super value.

The Hatchulas actually don't come with a sheath at this time. I'll be sending off a sample to JRE pretty soon to get some leather worked out. I'm a kydex master, but kydex doesn't work well enough with this knife design for me to feel good about it. The knife really needs a good leather sheath to carry well.

So the price $200 is it include the JRE sheath or not?

Nope. When the JRE sheaths get worked out, they'll cost the customer whatever they cost me. I don't upcharge the leather sheaths at all. My guess is that they will be around the $30 mark.


Here are a couple of pictures of a sheath that one Hatchula owner had made by the leather master Sandy Morrissey. Sandy's work is incredible and very affordable.

I think you'll be super happy with it. Mine is the full-convex People's Knife, and I can't think of one thing I'd change about it. My RC-6 is getting jealous.
