I really enjoyed looking at all the Busse knives at the Blade Show. I found this one while searching around at the show (thanks Phil!)

Michael,
I love my Mean Street, but I dont want to use it as they are no longer being made. I know that I cant hurt it

I just dont want to bring down the collectability(sp?) value.
I have a Basic #7 that I love. I use it as the all around "yard tool". Every thing from cutting sod to pruning branches. Its also my camp and trail knife. Hope fully I will get a chance to really use it next month when I go on leave.
If you are looking for another small Busse to use hard I would suggest the Satin Jack. That looks like a knife that wont scare the neighbors. It also looks like it would be just the right size for me. I originaly got my MS to complement my Basic #7 so I am looking for another Busse to go with it. I am waiting on the folder (just like every one else

) I think that the folder could become my EDC.

Hum, next purchase, well I don't have one yet but take a look at the Zero Tolerance Satin Jack. You can see a picture of Ryu's on the following thread. http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum39/HTML/001410.html
Of course you probably got to see one in person at the Blade Show.

BTW, good to have you on the Busse forum. I hope you feel welcome and stick around.

The blade looks like it has the crinkle finish, which makes me think it is a Lean Mean Street. I'm not sure if any of the regular Mean Streets had the crinkle finish.
The sure way is the thickness of the blade.
The Lean Mean Street has a .187 thickness.
You sure have a good find there!!!

NCBLADES,
thats a great knife and I think you will really enjoy it. I have seen this knife and it is very sharp (it cut me Friday before the Blade Show)! I know this because it was mine until the Blade Show. I had Three total and didn't think I needed all of them. (boy talk about regrets)
