Blade show help?

I'll be driving like a bat out of hell Friday morning from the DC area. Hope to get there before Blade closes on Friday.

I wonder what the added INFI will be to my MPG... :p

That is one helluva drive isn't it? Drive safe man! I need you in one piece to hang out, smoke cigars, and have a couple of drinks

There's plenty to do in Atlanta, but none of the tourist stuff I know is open at 6:00 am.

For any one looking, I would suggest seeing the Cyclorama. You can also see the Texas in the same building.

About 650 miles, and just under 10 hours of driving...

Road Trips rule and I will be there for sure for the Smokes and Beverages!!!

Gotta get my stereo wired up for my iPod before then.

Wow is Blade that close?

I have to start banking sleep now so I can stay awake for three days.

Of course my mom’s care issues have been good training for being with Jerry and Skunk. Like them, mom needs to have someone to hang with from 1:00 to 7:00 a.m. when she is awake but in a mental stupor.

.

Anyone knows of some good hangouts near Blade? Hogwash is thinking about a strip joint or something to help loosen up after the long flight ;)

Go to the "Cheetah", it's one of the good one's in ATL.
Ask for Rebecca, she's a friend of mine. Just called and asked if it was OK to give her name out...she said heck yeah, just to make sure and ask for her.

She lives with a buddy of mine....I didn't meet her in the club. I'm way to tight for those place's, though I could manage a night during Blade if a few here are going.

Sheeeeeit...now ya'll are making me wanna head up there. The way I figure it, though, I save money by just buying at inflated secondary-market prices. A flight, a hotel AND INFI is just out of there. PLUS, wifey will be making her first attempt with insemination, so I guess I better stick around. NOW WHO'S GONNA PROXY FOR ME?:D:D

I'm finally getting around to buying tickets and booking a hotel room.

I was thinking about the Wingate hotel. It's near Cobb but not quite as close as the Waverly (they are full).

For the flight, we might get in early on Thursday. If any one is arriving Wednesday or earlier, we could use a place to get a little rest before we can check in to our room at 3:00 pm.

Thanks for the help.

We are at the Extended Stay in the Busse block, and last year they let us check in around noon, so we were rested for Fogo's. You may check with your hotel about early check in..... If the room is ready, they should let you in for no additional charge.
