If you don't mind a 5 min drive I recommend the alternative the Extended Stay Deluxe it is less than 1/2 the price of the Busse Waverly rate.The rooms are decent if not fancy I have stayed there the last 2 years.
 
Chuck & I are going to try and make it. Depends on my health and finances after all medical bills are covered!

Hope to see all my Busse family soon! :D

Please excuse the temporary thread hijack, but having never been to a BLADE show, I have no idea where to find tickets for this thing... can someone point me in the right direction? I don't want to miss the train!

You can buy passes at the show. You can buy single day passes or a 3 day pass. Doors open at 2 pm on Friday for regular passes you may need to get there early because their is usually a line. Some manufacturers (Busse included) get VIP passes that let you enter at noon on Fri but they are limited you still have to pay for the pass. Again get there early because there is usually a line to get the passes and then a line to get in the door. Some people arrive 8 am or earlier.
As the show gets closer Amy will probably post the instructions for the VIP passes from Busse.

I just got off the phone with the Waverly. I was able to book 3 nights at the discounted rate.

Looks like they still have rooms available. :)

Hoping to see you & your girl friend again this year. Paul. Too bad we won't be staying at the Waverly. :grumpy:
 
We just booked 5 nights at the Waverly for the Blade rate of $154.00 today. So they're still taking bookings at that rate.

Can't wait to meet everyone! :)
 
My best friend lives in Marietta, so I'll be crashing with him. Look forward to seeing you all there. Any word on passes yet?

Thanks for posting that I just called them and gave them a right earful about charging mr the full rate. They gave me the show rate of $154.

You saved me $200-00 and I thank you!!;):thumbup:
 
If I make it, I won't have a car and will have to ship any blades scored!! Still tryin'!!
 
Just reserved a room at the Waverly,still have some as of right now.
