The last 2 years I've scheduled a week of my vacation for Blade and the last 2 years I've had to reschedule it for something else. Oh well, always next year.
 
I had a dream a couple nights back,weird as I don't remember most of my dreams. This one was waiting in line to get into Blade and there was only about 20 people waiting in line. I was on my Iphone trying to apply for credit cards.
 
Well, I hope to attend so that I can place faces to all of you. Living north of the 49th doesn't lend itself to too many blade meets!

Whats all involved with getting inducted?

No, you're not the only one from INGO not heading down there. I'm not going either.
Although I'm just newly getting into this stuff again, I'm trying to pace myself. This fall, Thursday night at KC. Next year, Blade....i hope.
 
The Induction Dinner is always a blast, I always enjoy seeing everyone competing in Shop Credit Competitions.

More Scotch Blossoms for me this year! Beef introduced me to them last year and I think I'm hooked. They're delicious!!

I tasted one and it was good. I think its a whiskey sour but with scotch:thumbup:


Dont quote me on that cause I cant remember.

Thats why I keep it simple usually nothing more than alcohol, ice, and one other ingredient max.:D

I had never heard of them before Beef walked out onto the patio and told me to try what he had in his cup. After he told me what it was I ran inside and asked the bartender what all was in a Scotch Blossom. I wasn't smart enough to write it down at the time. Below is the closest recipe that I've come across so far. This year, I'll try to get the recipe AND remember to write it down this time :D

2 ounces of Scotch,
1 ounce of honey simple syrup
1 ounce of lime juice
4 to 8 mint leaves and ice
Shake vigorously, add soda water, and enjoy.
