Blade Show Induction Dinner

Tony G, you checking a bag? Renting a car or taking a cab?

Blade is pretty much a straight shot up I-75 from the airport, but Friday 5:00 p.m. traffic in Atlanta can get pretty ugly.

Still, I'd imagine that, with a 6:30 arrival, you might be up at the Galleria by 8 or 8:30.

Well if I bring a knife I'll need to check a bag:grumpy:. But if it comes together I may ship a knife to someone driving and then I can just go right from the flight to a cab and be at the yet to be named dinner location by maybe 7:30 with my carry-on in hand. Also I'm not all that hung up on having a knife so I could go without if it meant the difference between making dinner and not.

When I called the hotel they said that the Hotel was 22 miles from the Airport. Even in San Francisco traffic that wouldn't be 45 minutes for a cab driver.

It would be cool if the SKUNK or Jaxx would send their private limo.:thumbup: :p

Well everything has worked out and I will be at the dinners on Friday and Saturday nights (party of one, well by Saturday night -in Atlanta- that could change) .:thumbup: :thumbup:

And I'll even go to the show Saturday if I can get up and walk after Friday night:D.

Received the 'good word' today!

I'm in -- at least 1. Will see if Mrs. OP and/or any of the little OPs (not so little any more) want to come also.

I intend to try for Thursday, Friday, and even Saturday nights.

They don't let me out very often...might as well make the most of it!!:D

I left a message for you at the shop. I'll be at the induction dinner and I'd like to find out where the Friday dinner is, if there is one.

I'm not the right person to ask but I don't think one is planned for Friday night due to everyone being exhausted from the first day... at least the Fogos for that night was canceled.

At a minimum, I'm sure a group will make plans at the show Friday. :thumbup:

No, actually I have no idea what I paid, someone booked it for me. I did score a round trip flight from Houston for $88 though :thumbup:
