With Blade Show fast approaching I thought I better get some info out there!

We will be holding knife lotteries on Friday, May 31, and Saturday. June 1 at 4:30 PM both days. Our goal is to have 75-100 knives total, with 10-15 hand ground customs per day. Stop by the our Booth (173-174) early to sign up for the lottery each day.

We'll have a ton of Hinderer products available to purchase, from pens, tools, Steel Flame bling, shirts, patches, hats, etc.

This year Rick will be holding autograph sessions at our booth on all 3 days. He will be signing (engraving) Hinderer knives, and knives that he has designed for Kershaw and Gerber. Also bring by your Hinderer t-shirt, hat, knife box, etc if you would like those items signed!
-Friday 3:30 – 4:00, Booth 173
-Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 and 3:00-4:00, Booth 173
-Sunday 11:00 – 12:00, Booth 173

Thanks or all the details, I'll make a note.

And as for the autograph signing...that's cool; but for me, a few handshakes and some conversation will be better-than fine.

See you guys there.

If I send one of you guys my picture, you could see me there too?

So jealous right now.

Don't be too jealous, it's usually very busy. If you are not a people person (which I really am not) then one of the smaller shows has a lot going for it. That said, it's an event every "knife enthusiast" should experience at least once.

J, plan now to fly in next year. 'Bout time for a fresh passport stamp, no?

C'mon man, your in almost every thread on the forum, you're the most talkative that I can think of, never would have guessed that :)
Really wish I could go, I'll definitely try to next year. Everyone says its too crowded but you really have to go once to experience the level of energy in the crowds.

Thanks for the heads up Rob! This will be our first Blade Show and are looking forward to seeing y'all down there.

...and yet I say little to nothing of true value.:p

All kidding aside, I'm not anti-social but do not really like crowds and such. I attend many populous events and experiences, but large gatherings are not my favorite thing.

Cool - thanks for the info. I will bring some of my ZT knives to see if I can get a signature.

For those that have not been, if you intend on buying a knife, bring cash.

I did not know this last year, and by the time I found out, there was no way to get somewhere I could draw that much cash out of my bank.

The Hinderer folks had some great giveaways at their booth last year too....

best

What age groups are allowed to enter the Blade Show drawings?

I don't know about Blade, but I'm pretty sure a few babies won last year at the Plaza Show. I remember guys standing there with a handful of tickets...one for each member of their family. I could be wrong, but I think it's one per paid admission so if kids require a ticket they should be able to enter the lottery.

Hammer - the statement you just made is incorrect!! ("In the past it's been 18 and older to purchase a knife" )
In the past it has appeared all ages have been able to enter except for last year. Is the age 18 to enter or anyone with a paid admission 13 years or older?

Are you planning to attend the Blade Show? Are you bringing the kids? If I remember correctly, last years lottery tickets stated "must be 18 or over to enter". We can't be selling extremely sharp objects to little kids now can we?

Hammer- You are correct that last year the age limit was 18. For about 10 years before that , it seemed it was any age or at least if you were accompanied by a parent.
So my question is what is the official age limit for the Hinderer drawing?

I think he had just answered that by stating the tickets say "must be 18 to participate".

That being said....I think a little common sense applies. They shouldn't need to be carding kids and checking birth certificates. I took my son last year (was 16 at the time) and he won a 3". It was the highlight of his summer. Hope everyone has fun this year...should be great! :D

Hammer Knows of what he speaks...don't question his words.

Chem...we had similar ideas on this...

It's not just Blade with 18+ rule...
