Well here's another one. I really like this knife and hate to see it go. But, with the knives I have it will never get used, and id really like to see this out in the world doing what it suppossed to be doing. Time for a new home. Here's the specs:

10 1/4in. OAL 5 1/4in trailing point blade full flat ground 01 57RC.
Phenalic handle
Leather hand tooled mahogany sheath

oh man, that's an elephant skinner if I ever saw one.
nice slight recurve at the guard and the signature rollover behind the edge.
mmm... donut.
 
Its still up for grabs guys. I want it, but cant afford it right now with some other projects I have happening. I personally handled this one ALOT at Blade and....... DAMN....
 
Thanks for the kind words fellas. It really is a nice package. I wouldnt mind keeping it, but like I said. it would serve someone else better than me. Cant keep them all. im gonna let it go for a few more days here on my subforum. if it doesnt sell I'll put it on the general forum. so, heres your first shot chance for anybody thats on the fence.
 
Upswept blade...you know the way to my heart. :) That's a beauty Todd. Unfortunately, I can't swing the money for any steel right now, but it'll haunt my dreams!
 
I handled this one enough at Blade that I know I'm going to like it. Todd sweats the small stuff.
It's my third Hunt blade, and I have an M-18 in the wings.

That said, I'm not buying a Tradewater till Todd makes a "Guyon." :D
Problem is, he and I discussed this at Blade, and he's pushing for something really small and pink. :eek:

Well its true. I do sweat the small stuff. My Dad has told me before I think too much. While these things suite me well in knifemaking. Its kinda a curse in real life. A lot of sleep is lost sweating the small stuff. I wish I could find a happy in-between.

Also, that copper Ka-bar folder you showed me at Blade is really pulling at my heart strings. I saw a picture of it in one of my mags. Is that something that is available to the masses?
 
Guyon, I am glad it went to you. At least I know its in a good home, and if you ever decide you have too many blades and want to sell this one, give me first dibs would ya ?
 
You bet. If you should die tomorrow, how about willing me that Tradewater? BTW, I'm posting from your closet, and I have poison darts in my pocket for some strange reason.

Just take care of my family for me and its a deal ..lol I still need to send my Tradewater to Sky for a bushcraft dangler. It really is a hell of a knife. I keep walking past where it sits and stopping and taking it out for no reason, checking it out for a few min and then putting it back ... I think I might be addicted.
