Blade show offerings

Help me out here... I am a first time attendee, and have yet to only see pictures of the event. When you say "trough", what are you talkin' 'bout?

That aside, any advice on the trip?
 
The "trough" is just the area in front of the Busse booths; periodically they throw out cards for specific knives. There have been a LOT of pictures posted showing it. Also, wear comfortable shoes, as there is a lot to see.;):thumbup:
 
Comfortable shoes, bring a few bottles of water as it is typically rather warm in the convention center, snack bars are good to have as well. Weather looks to be in the mid 80s with storms, that can make it a bit muggy but we have not had too many hot days so far this year. If you leave the show, there are several good places to eat nearby, don't be afraid to explore the area a bit. I work maybe 5 minutes from where the show is, so if you need food suggestions I can probably match you up with what you want. Don't go short on the deodorant, we will all thank you.
 
The suspense of Blade.............................is only alleviated by "The Wall" PICS of what is coming. How about some Boss Man?

I am guessing it will have to be soon. I would think the crew will be leaving for Blade tomorrow or Thursday.
 
For the life of me I do not remember there ever being a preview picture of Blade ?
I kind of like it that way though, it is kind of nice and makes it worth it to be surprised at the show :)
I doubt there will be pics until the show :)
 
Dave, I believe you are correct. I don't remember there ever being pictures of the wall for Blade Show. I only ever remember it being a Knob Creek thing.

Huh, maybe you are right. Since I always had a dumb phone I could never check after I left for Blade but I thought people had mentioned it. Guess I was wrong.
 
I remember there being new threads for new releases (Gladius, Hawkeye Dagger, etc.) but never any wall pics.

Having a blackout is more fun anyway :)
 
As a trained observer ;) I don’t believe there have ever been pre blade pics such as we see for KC, (some teasers and hints have been posted though…!!!), I may be wrong as I must admit that each time I see that wall of dreams (as I like to think of it) covered in all manner of steel shapes, I do tend to flush a little and, it has been said, I get a faraway look in my eye…and perhaps even a tear………. ;)

I do remember seeing a gladius on the way to Atlanta. I think your both right ;)

But if past is a look into the future it wouldnt bother me if pics were banned all together:D

They put all the knives down in this steel feeding trough, and people takes turns getting down on their hands and knees, like a pig, and picking out a knife with their teeth. Sort of like bobbing for apples. :rolleyes:
 
Here is my bladeshow offerings :) I think after talking with some friends I'm going to need to break out at least 2 more bottles though :)
