Blade Show reflections....

I read Bob Lum tanto and quit reading. Please tell me more about this piece, and do post pics as soon as you can. Bob Lum was my introduction to the knife world, although at the time I was too poor to buy even the Spyderco c46 folding tanto.

I do have a tanto commissioned from Pohan Leu that I designed.

Hi STeven,

A great read by an equal person. You have many gifts; writing with clarity is a topper.

I sigh that I was not 100% ready to relax. I had a complicated encounter the previous night, which dragged on me all day and into this evening. That and a third straight 12 hour day, and I was in my own world.

But--the dinner was a highpoint of the weekend, and I am ever thankful to be included. Gracie!

(Great description of our friend Rich. I like him a lot!)

STeven, good seeing you as always just wish there was more time. Thanks for your posts on the forum, always entertaining. Regards.

STeven,

It was nice seeing you again. As always a great Show review.

What a wonderful write up. So clear and present. I appreciate the time and effort to share.

Really nice write up STeven. It was great seeing you there, too bad we did not have more time. It is always informative talking with you and I look forward to doing so again soon.

Thanks, Jon

I can honestly say that it was a memorable 'pit' meeting for me too....! :D

The avatar does not lie.....usually, I imagine the guys that you meet "pretend" only to be interested in your knife work(which I am sure is smashing, but I really can't entirely tell from your website) I at least have the courage and fortitude to look up straight(about six inches when you are in heels) into your beautiful eyes and ask you to recite the phone book or any other tome that has you talking for some time in that honey throated dialect you posses.

The pleasure was all mine(to those that do not know, the stunning Dr. Horne is happily married with children, long may she be joyful, long may the rest of us sorry lot dream).

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Very glad we got that last minute cocktail STeven!
Thanks again for the time & wisdom you shared with me.

Although I was initially concerned with your TSA experience :D

My wisdom pales in comparison to the richness of your experiences gleaned with hard work, and a keen eye over the course of many years, amigo.

That TSA was a cakewalk compared to the last one in Seattle, back in March.;)

Best Regards,
