The Blade Show was fantastic and all the BCCI club members who attended had a great time. Our club swept the display awards from the Blade Show once again with John Foresman's fantastic display of Buck Custom knives taking the BEST OF SHOW honors.
For those of you who have not seen John's display, it is incredible. His knives are absolutely stunning and are shown in beautiful, lighted cases. Friends, there is no other knife manufacturer with so visible a group of dedicated members as Buck Knives, Inc. I am proud to be affiliated with this great organization.

Mary and I both had a great time at the show. Next time we will each have our own display. Mary is going to be collecting the 500 series...she said she wanted to find something a little less expensive than the 110's. Oh, well...bankrupt again. At least I now know what to get her for her birthday.

Thank you for your kind words, Larry. But let's not forget your display. It just keeps getting better and better! It's without a doubt, the most complete factory production (1961-1980) that I have ever seen, bar none. And all the displays have improved. Dave and Mary Fortman's collection of Pete's Custom 110 is growing and looked great! Jim Holbrook's display was fantastic this year. Frank Meek's display had a lot of great knives in it.

It definitely is an honor to be a member of the BCCI. And my friends are the best part!

Yep, Larry's display is the one I judge others on, including my own. Wish I could have lived up to his display standards this year, but it was not. Look for a better display at the NKCA show this fall. And Mary will have her own display of the 500 series knives. (The ones she really loves are the 505's) She loves the little ones, and I don't blame her a bit.

The Blade show was a blast! Buck Collector club members covered 28 tables with great displays that were a joy to look at.
None of this would have been possible, of course, without the help of the folks at Krause publications!
