Blade Show Scores 2024 Edition

Hearing about the waiting in line for vendors who reach the table before regular attendees sounds like saying the traffic was bad in the express lane. Any time people are put in different groups, like the airlines, people will get frustrated.
I think if I attend Blade I will go with no expectation of buying anything, stroll in hungover after meeting Yoko, and just check out the tables of some custom fixed blade makers.

I think if I ever get the chance to go, I will go as quickly as one can while retaining personal dignity to the CPK, Les George, and Vehement Knives tables with the expectations of getting nothing, and then just leisurely meander. Seems like there would be a lot of great opportunities to find unknown makers doing cool things.

That is one of the coolest aspects of going to a show. There are some spectacular makers who don't have much of an online presence. No Instagram, Facebook, website, or forum presence. They just make awesome knives and go to shows.
