I am thinking of attending on Friday. Is it worthwhile to go? Can you get good deals at the show?

The early bird tickets ... are generally resellers so anything rare gets snatched really quick. The way the Texas show sets up that process really screws anyone buying them by giving times to come get a place holder ...not thinking about those of us who actually have a job so even the early bird tickets are worthless to be honest. So FK blade show TX!

Of the three i like Texas the best, followed by the big Atlanta show. Blade West is ho-hum, and salt lake city is a boring, weird place.

It’ll be my second year going. It’s worth spending a day there. I’ll be going Friday. I don’t plan on buying anything, just going to look. That said, the 30 minute early early bird entry would irritate quite a bit if I were planning on a purchase. Just don’t agree with it. Give everyone a fair shot

I'll be there Saturday! Figured my wallet may stand a chance if a lot of the good stuff gets snatched up Friday. It's my first time attending a show, so I'll probably be the one that looks broke, lost and confused.

I'd say look for the big bearded guy in cowboy boots, but that wont help a bit in Texas. lol

You’re only allowed to carry one knife into the show as an edc. Decisions decisions..

Me and my daughter attended last year. No one checked our pockets or backpacks for the number of knives we carried. I think just don’t want attendees trying to sell knives in the show.

They barely check admission wristbands. Sidenote, I went to a Blade West show in Long Beach, Ca, and they had metal detectors at the entrances....

That indeed describes the majority of the knife crowd, not only in Texas! The show is overwhelming but fun. You’ll see some cool stuff and maybe even score a deal. Cash talks, especially as the days wind down.

All our shows here in St. Louis are BUY/SELL/TRADE! I usually have my hiking pack full of knives to swap!!
