Blade Show Thief

Very sad to hear this

We use a case

We get a lot of people around the booth at one time so its hard to watch everyone but i honestly never even thought of someone being under handed

We like the glass cases so we can display a lot of work

I agree Joe, a display case makes perfect sense for a purveyor or manufacturer from both marketing and loss prevention perspectives but for average "Joe-Knifemaker", with a table, probably not.

I can't argue that

It sure is nice to be able to walk up and pick up a knife after asking of course

I think that is key here

I would never pick up a knife off anyone's table with out asking

I know they are going to say yes but I feel that it is proper etiquette to ask

They look at me strange when I flip them in my hand thou :)

It will be a sad day when it comes to shows under glass but alas you are seeing more of it especially on displays with very heavy paper knives in them

When someone can palm a 20 k loveless and walk away the thought makes you shudder :(
