Blade Show Update **PICS**

if you ever use the nick fighter, i'd be interested in hearing about how it handles. when i had mine with the edge set that low (below the nuckles) it had a bad tendency to torque left or right when i was using it, and i had trouble indexing where the edge was if i wasnt looking at it.

but i had left the blade kind of thick when it was like that, and i think a thinner profile would have handled better...

One of the FBM's had a price tag of $465 on the back of the display stand. I do not remember of that was the standard or magnum scales.

that was with the Magnum scales..

the FSH with the standard scales = $397.00

that would put the hogfsh at something like 497$?

or 527..... man..... thats gonna suck... not going to stop me from ordering one, but man...

where any of the fbm's for sale at blade? were any of them HOG editions? (i ask this cause there may not be a hog edition of the fbm this run (we've been lucky to have them on the sj and the sh)... certainly hope there is though.)

No on both counts... :( It was after I realized that the FBM wasn't for sale that I opened my wallet and bought other stuff from 59 & 61. I was saving my pennies, first, for the FBM. :D

The mag FBM was awesome, though! It's amazing how much the mag slabs change the character of the blade for me.

naw,..

the only FBM's there were the standard 1/4", both with Black crinkle blade finish, with corregated bevel grinds,,, one with the magnum scales and the other with the standard scales (both black canvas),,

they are very awsome blades,

but in my hands, those magnum scales really felt nice,, so looks like i am gonna have to go with those magnum scales on mine:thumbup:

hopefully it comes up soon... i may have to start selling some things around my house in general coming up soon, and i'd rather not have that going on while im trying to pay for the battle mistress as well... dealing with one set of debts at a time is plenty...
