how can we identify you if your not showing?___I have discovered that the true secret to blacksmithing is to have the right hat. Thanks to Ken Mankel for that secret! I wear a Tilly T-3 in a color suitable to the task. (Looks like a cloth cowboy hat) I'll also be the one asking if you have any other handle material or smithing tools.

Visiting I don't think JUST gives this show justice

Dates you will be there Every time the doors open! I've never finished looking at everything I wanted.

how can we identify you? 5' 8" carrying 200 lb.s! Big handle bar mustache and some kind of silly hat and usually hanging out in the dock area smoking.

I hope someone will suggest a meeting of "computer friends" somewhere. I see you all as brothers.

I will have a table at the Blade Show. This will be my fifth or sixth year there. My table is 28-C. The Blade Show is a one of a kind experience. I have several different grinders, so if anyone is interested in my experience with them, come on by and we'll talk. Tom Lewis

The girlfriend isn't going...she has finals for nursing. But...this way I get to stay out in the pit until the wee-hours of the night swapping lies!!!

Man I feel like a real newbie here. But I'm a so utterly psyched about this show and meeting you folks I can barely stand it! I did finally get a pic which'll show up below (unless it fries Spark's server).

I'm leaving my wife at home for the express reason of being able to not be in the room except to shower and nap a bit. Perhaps understandably, this has caused a bit of friction around the house, but passing around a bit of $$ and muscle equity has helped. Jeanie has a whole lot of new stuff in her gardens... ;) And more to come, undoubtedly.

But Hey!, whatever it takes to have three plus days of uninterrupted knife life! :cool: :cool: :cool: Oh, Way Cool. :cool: :cool: :cool: Okay, here's a pic of this middle aged knifemaker with a plan...

So you can maybe recognize me - and run away or say hello, as you feel moved. :)

Edited to attempt to put the image inline... Let's hope that worked better than my recent ability to keep track of blades ready for heat treat...

Hey Nick, sounds good to me.. Ruby Tuesdays is great but the Waverly grill is unreal, kinda $pendy though..

We are having a little Single Malt Social on Friday night around the pit area.. Kit Carson, Onion, Simonich, Mayo, and a bunch of us will be bringing some good bottles of Scotch to "taste"
Since your without a ball and chain we'll get you lousy drunk..HAHAHA...:D

Glad you like the site, and see you there bud!! Just over a month away now!! DAMN I need to make some knives..;)
