I won't make it this year - probably next year will be my first BLADE show. (I'm moving to within a 3-hour driving distance, that makes a huge difference, compared to having to fly in or drive 15 hours each way). Mainly to meet some of my heroes and buddies, pick the brains of the best in the business, and score deals on steel and handle materials. Plus, most hardcore knife people are just plain fun to hang out with.

Anyway, I almost certainly won't have a table, but for those that do, I imagine at least part of the costs are tax-deductible; it's a business-trip like any other convention. Actually, that may even be true for guys going there to buy materials and whatnot; I'll have to look into that...
