It's getting closer all the time fellas! How many of you will be there? How many will be displaying their collections? I'll be there with 3 of my 4 children(the 4th is 19 and has a boyfriend-no chance of getting her to go!) and my wife. My kids will display their collections along with me. With 8 extra tables this year, the Buck Collectors Club should make an awesome appearance at the show. Hope to see you there!

The Blade Show is in Atlanta on June 8,9,and 10. It's held at the Cobb Galleria Center. It's a must show for any knife nut.

I'll be there, wouldn't miss it, largest show in the country. Sure enjoyed last years.
The Buck displays were just awesome.

By the way, we premiered the new Buck Club Name Badges at the NKCA show in Covington Ky.
2 weeks ago. Green with Buck logo & your name in white, along with member or life number. These have a magnetic clasp instead of a pin, much easier to put on and they don't fall off.

Hoping to get enough ordered in time so we all can wear them at the Blade Show, as soon as I get 36 orders they will make them up. Anyone wanting one, email me at:

fmnm514@home.com

I will email or mail a badge form asap.

John,
I will be there! Hopefully i can bring my "favorite Buck" and kids. It all depends on their last day of school.
This is going to be a huge show!

Frank, count me in for some badges.

Everyone,

These badges that Frank has available for us are really great looking. He had his at the Covington show this past October and I was impressed. I highly recommend you order one if you attend any knife shows during the year. I am ordering one for all my clan.

I plan to be there this year again. Last year was the first time I've missed it in 13 years (I had just had my right knee AND my left foot operated on at the same time). I plan on displaying a unique collection - something that won't conflict with anyone else's display.

Vern,
I am thrilled you will be there!! Last year was lacking due to your absence.

Mary and I will be there. We are really looking forward to it!

Where are you all staying? We might be sleeping in the back of the truck if there are no accomodations available.

Dave, We stay at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel. It's connected to the Galleria Center, very convenient. It's kinda expensive though. I believe it's $129 a night. There are several other less expensive motels in the area. Murray Andrews stays at one up the road just a little ways. He can give you some info if you are interested.

Joe has your son been practicing his auctioneering? Hope we have some more Buck cedar boxes to auction off, was fun watching some one squirm during that bidding

I have another member to bring his Buck display, Allen Mott, he signed up at last years show. Allen will need 1/2 a table space.

Don't forget to get your badges ordered in time for the big show.

Hey Frank,

I think Joe should leave those cedar boxes at home. I'm not sure I can squirm two years in a row. Glad you recruited another displayer for the show! The more the better.

Dave Fortman,
Some of us stay about 2 - 3 miles away at an Econolodge. The rate is much less ($55 or $65) and it is clean if not fancy. Phone # is 770-952-0052.

Frank,
The world's youngest auctioneer will be there, providing he and his older brother get ahead in their school work.
I sent in an order for the badges...i think. I don't see it here anymore so i must have.
I added Allen to the list. I will contact him for some particulars.
Thank you.

Thanks for the hotel help, guys!

We decided on the Waverly for a couple reasons. First this will be our major vacation trip of the year so the extra cost is ok. The other is that it is connected to the convention center. No driving or looking for parking. If we got lost we might have ended up at the Macon County line!

Take care,

Dave,

You and Mary will love the Waverly. It's a luxurious hotel. She'll think she's on her second honeymoon when she sees the atrium at night. I look forward to seeing you there.
