Well. The new people handling the show (it apparently takes two now) sent out e-mails to all interested parties re tables today. All I can say is that I had better pass my JS performance test because I am currently number 68 on the wait list!!!!! :-I

"There you go with them negative waves again Moriarty" Positive Joe, positive. You will pass the performance test. Repeat this over and over again. You will do fine as long as you do not slip on your drool pool over Bailey's shop. WE will see you at a table in Atlanta.

Things haven't changed, Karl. I haven't passed the performance test yet. The test bladeis ready to have the edge put on it and I was out doing all kinds of pseudo-Buddhist, Shinto and Native American chants over it today just to make sure I had all of my bases covered.:D

Joe did you hop around on one leg and normalize facing due north. All kidding aside you will do fine. You will have a testers table and I will see you in Little Rock.

Probably not going to make it to Little Rock, Brion. The opportunity came up for me to go to Dallas and take my oldest son to the AC/DC show at American Ariline Center and that is why I scheduled the test with Bailey. Assuming I pass, it gives me a little more time to get some knives made and show them to folks at Batson's and possibly the Spring Hammer-In at Washington. I have 6 decent looking blades forged out and rough ground now, but 2 are for orders and two others are set up for stag handles and I am hesitant to bring more than one stag knife to Atlanta if I bring any for the test,

We will miss you Joe, but AC/DC, there you go. Starting your son off right.
Just a suggestion, if you make it to the spring hammer in, bring one or two of the stag knives and let them get looked at. For that matter bring what you got made and have them looked at. That is my plan as a last check before Atlanta. Or if you can make it up to the Niceville/Valparaiso area in your panhandle let John White look at them. He is pretty picky. Personally I do not see that much problem with stag as long as it is fairly symmetrical.
Good luck with Bailey, but you will pass.

Why would it take two to handle a show? Dont know much about the shows yet, Little Rock will be my first. Hope to see you there Mr Tomberlin.
