Blade Show

With all the industry meetings this year I did not get my usual soak time in Buckville but you guys were as impressive as ever.

Brent won so many awards he said he will have to create a display for his new collection of Gen 5's (those were the awards...)

Iv'e got to say Alanta was GREAT!!!! 300,what a great wrapup of the event..For me the best part was meeting all my fellow 'Buck Nuts' and forum members...You can learn so much about Bucks and collecting it's true but it's just plain fun to spend DAYS with nice folks who share a love you have..The only problem with Alanta is that any other show will just seem...little...It is HUGE!!!!!!!! Row after row of ALL kinds of knives, table after table of exotic parts, handle materials,tools..ANYTHING to do with knives you will find there! I swore after 2007 I would walk around to see it all but its too much to see and do in only 3 days...I did manage to see part of the cutting competion out in the parking lot..that was really cool! I do think that Buck had the best and most displays of all !!!!!!! Lots of folks stopped by to see what there Bucks were worth and simply share there love of Bucks...I felt honered to be a part of it!

I think the winning secret is free candy at your display.

Will watch for after Halloween sales and will up the bar over peppermints next year with little Milky Ways.....

300

Craig,

Thanks for posting you pics and sharing your Blade Show recap. Great job. It was great spending time with you at the show. Thanks for your kind words. By the way, your first display was top drawer!

While looking at the 334 Dave Photo, i got a warning on a Trojan Horse Virus that was 'severe'. I know nothing about these things and maybe it came from somewhere else but i thought id pass it on. Sorry if it was a coinkydink.

Yes, be very careful about this one; there is some evidence that it might be associated with photobucket. It it infects your computer, it causes it to go into a continuous loop of shutting itself down and then rebooting itself, over and over again.

Great photos and fantastic collections! I'll have to get to one of these shows soon. I've never even attended one. Thanks for posting.

Tin Sue, I got that . I didn't know what it was from but I seem to be over it for now and I've stopped clicking on pictures in photo bucket . DM

Craig,

Nice review of the show. It was generous of you to take the time. I really enjoyed the photos of the displays. I'm going to have to make it down there for one soon.
