Blade size question

Ok, so I've been here on the forum and on a few others under the same name for many years. I've gone in and out of blade buying and selling. Back in the day I owned several Game Wardens which were gifted away over the years. I scored by first decent size Busse today here on the Exchange; a Badger Attack Ergo which I can't wait to get in hand!

I love the look and shape of the ASH models, but we can't have anything bigger than 5.5" here in Texas. I prefer a 4.5 to 5" blade for carry.

What models are similar to the ASH but fit my length requirements?

I can't believe I've had such a layoff from this place, but I'm back and I'm stoked!

Thanks!

Anorexic Boss Street. They are great too..

What about a blade similar to the Team Gemini but under 5.5" ? Does such thing exist?

I think the Team Gemini "M" might fit the bill, but I can't remember the blade specs offhand.

OOPS, just looked it up and it appears the TGM has a 6" blade. Sorry.

In that case, check out the Boss Streets. They're my favorite Busse of that size...

Just a (thick) hair under your preferred size range - check out the Son of Swat.

I agree about the CABS series. All are great but I truly love the first one I bought, which was a Boss Street Proto. It's a little thick for the blade size (and my taste) at .21", but I think it and the RMD are my favorites in the size range listed by the OP.

The Badger Attack 3 has a 4.5" blade of 3/16" thick INFI, but they are not seen much these days.
The Basic 5 is also nice (1/4" thick M-INFI), but not easy to find either.

Badger attack ergo 2nd gen, is compact and tough - 5" blade. You should be able to pick one up for a good price because there doesn't seem to be that much interest in the secondary market (I've been trying to sell one).

Sorry - just realized you said you'd already got a BAe. Which generation was that?
