Can I use my regular stamp on a Talonite blade? Will it screw it up? Those things are awfully expensive!
 
Talonite is a carbide filled medium (sorry I don't know the makeup) which basically makes it act as already heat treated. It is hard on grinding belts etc. All this means 'Don't stamp talonite' Makers that use Talonite will etch the blade.
