I'm pretty new to the knife world, and have been looking for a comprehensive list of blade materials and characteristics that are being used today. Anywhere I can find one? Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys, all those sites were helpful- especially that thread by Joe Talmadge. That was excactly what I was looking for.
