I am in Australia with a small population - compared to the USA - and we have little or nil choice of various steel stock suitable for custom blade work. I am trying to find something other than second hand saw blade material, leaf spring etc. It would be great to know exactly what steel I was using to make knives - for a change. Any help as to a supplier in USA who can help would be appreciated. I'd prefer a dealer who regularly deals in knife steel and can assist with some basic questions if needed. Many thanks in anticipation - this is my first post, sorry if it is too long. Larry.
