1095 is similar to white steel. There's no substitutes for blue steel though. O-7 is similar to composition but is just as impossible to obtain. Your best bet is to ask a Japanese friend to call Hitachi for an order.
That O-7 seems to have 7% tungsten instead of 2%. Well, I'm going to buy some of that steel anyway because it looks interesting! Thanks for the heads up.
