Blade Steel

I'm really interested to see what the C means hope you don't forget about this thread Safetyman.

Nope, I haven't forgot about this thread :). Anyways, here's the response I got from CRK, very informative :D:

When we began marking the blades with an S it was to distinguish them from the previous steel BG-42. Once our supply of BG-42 was depleted we no longer needed to mark them. We decided to begin leaving the S on the standard Sebenza profile and began marking the Classic 2000 (which is the same blade as the Sebenza 21) with a C to distinguish it from the other profile. Both blades are S30V.


If that's true, then the blade on this Sebbie must not be the original blade because it's a Sebenza 21, not an MM. Unless they use the blades interchangeably...hell, I don't know.

The blade shape for the 21 and MM are the same, only the small changes to the handle were made, so all is still good with yours IMO.
