Blade Steels - Last year for 440C

Can you experts help me understand what steel was used for Buck knives and what were the transition years? What was the last year 440C was used? Did they switch all steels at once or phase them in by model?

At least with the 110 Hunter I'm pretty sure they stopped using 440C after 1980.
