I don't have a 0400, but normally you have to take the frame apart to get the stop pin out, it should come out completely from both side of the frame once you take all the frame screws and pivot screw out.
I have a 0400 and yes as stated above you have to take the handle screws and pivot out, then you will be able to remove it from the inside of whichever side of the handle it stays in.
It looked to me that the pin had to be removed first. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Now all I have to do is get some good lube and I haven't decided what I want yet.
