Hi Gang- I was curious, do you prefer the hidden blade stop-pin or the pin, old style, behind the blade tang?
Is there an advantage with one over the other?

I think the hidden stop pin can be a fair bit more difficult to make and to time the lock, especially without a mill (though it can definitely be done with a drill press, files, and determination). The hidden stop pin can be sexier with it's clean look, but I hear it also can have problems on a :p "hard use" :p folder just because if gunk gets in the track, it can really mess with the lockup and timing. The regular stop pin is also in theory a hair stronger, because you have the stop pin further from the pivot point (longer lever arm). I'd imagine, depending on your particular geometry, that the hidden pin can also give you more room too. It's definitely a case by case thing I'd imagine.
