That quote was about BG-42, not ATS-34. I was wondering if it did apply to all steels or only BG-42. I'll call Buck at the end of January.

The quote pertains to all blade swaps, here it is again, Sounds like its time to make a custom shop order!!!;

The blades are all gone now, and so is the blade swap service. :(

I'm a little confused.... is the blade swap program history or is there a chance it will return at some point? I was under the impression it was over :confused:

From what I've heard from reliable sources outside this forum, blade swaps are a thing of the past; never to return again.:(

buck 110 i have also heard the same thing
the custom shop is understafed with a long lead time an
the etching and gold plating departments are not up
to speed as yet
and as buck is on a " jest in time supply line" and
preium balde steel is hard to locate in quanity an quality!
it is a very remote chance that it will return any time soon
if at all....
makes me sad i did not order more then i did ... and that i can not rep
