well after a realllly busy week last week (working 16-20 hour days)
i finally have time to put these knives up on the forums. i got some critiques about the sheaths so i came home and fixed them up real nice.
okay here are the specs:

Length
OAL: 17 3/4"
Blade:12" (including habaki)
Handle: 5 3/4"
Forged W2 steel blade differentially tempered with clay
Copper habaki, and fuchi
Brass seppa, and mekugi
Blued steel tsuba
Stabalized buckeye burl handle wrapped with silk ito
poplar and grenedillo sheath

The blade is razor sharp and has a nice hamon. the only flaw is where i dropped the knife and the blade hit the metal door jam. *sniff* so there is a slight bend in very edge about 1/8" long.

feedback is very helpful to me

Please let me know if you are interested at Knifemaker87@gmail.com This knife is tentativly sold. .

thanks so much for looking!

great looking blade! id say 400 is definitely a reasonable price, not outrageous by any means. good luck selling this puppy!

i mentioned where the blade hit the door jam...
i felt like crying. it slipped and fell all the way to the floor and hit the edge on the metal...
it bent slightly right where it smacked the metal...

ah, beautiful knives. fantastic work.
can always take the small edge warp out.
beautiful work. stunning wraps.

That is stunning mate..you have some real skill. Can't you get that bend out? If you can't then I would have no hope..lol.

i dont want to mar the blade..
i was going to try it on a wooden block with a rubber mallet... you think that would work?
thanks guys
~Chris

oh there's the bigger tanto...yeah too bad about the rolling of the blade, is it really bad? maybe you can just try to polish it out. :(

at least you didn't try to catch it.

at least i didnt try to catch it... or i would be counting my fingers... and it wouldnt get to 10

as fr if it is pinned... yes it is... but it is glued as well. is it possible to put a nicer buttcap on there... sure. personally i think it would look GREAT without any wrapping at all. the handle is buckeye burl and has GREAT character, but to keep with the style i wrapped it.
thanks!
